What is hearing? We are always hearing something, even if we don’t listen to it. The ear constantly takes in noises from our environment. Some of them catch our attention, others just go unnoticed. Some of them are pleasant, interesting, annoying, important or just nice.
Since April 2019, children and teenagers from the Erich-Kästner-School are working together with theatre pedagogues from the HELIOS Theatre and music pedagogues from the music school in Hamm. Their topic is “Hearing and Listening”. They listen to sounds and noises we we usually don’t even notice in our everyday life. They create rhythms, melodies and choir-like speaking moments. Finally, they will present their work in the schoolyard of the Erich-Kästner-School.
Performance date: Fri, 5th July 2019, 2:00 pm
