Paperwork (working title)

between performance and installation

For everyone aged 2 and above

Paper is a material brimming with possibilities: it can convey writing, thoughts, and information from one person to another, spanning centuries and kilometers; it simultaneously represents transience and tenderness, leaving traces behind and revealing fibers, tears, and lines.

It offers resistance, reveals structure, and creates a connection between the material and the human being.

In their upcoming work, Barbara Kölling, Minju Kim, and Michael Lurse explore the diversity of paper as a material, which becomes a sensual yet fragile partner on stage—a medium in which body and sound encounter each other, and which also encounters the bodies of the performers.

A theater piece with almost no words, somewhere between performance and installation, for everyone aged 2 and up.
