Hamm's School Theatre Festival

Since 2005, HELIOS Theater has organized the biennial school theatre festival of Hamm: "APPLAUS!". The secondary schools are invited to present their theatre activities on the stage of HELIOS Theater, be it a workshop presentation or a completed production, a group creation, a self-written play or an adaption of a classic. Every two years, "APPLAUS!" is the climax of the exchange between theatre and schools, when groups from different school forms come together, show their work and exchange about their productions.
