Roads and Paths

Year 7

‘Roads and Paths’ opens up the conceptual world of the WPI course. In a minimalist, choreographed scene, the performers explore different paths – both literally and metaphorically.

Through clear movement sequences and rhythmic visual sequences, we ask: Which paths do we really take? Are they the wide, well-travelled roads, or perhaps the paths that open up new perspectives for us?

In doing so, we aim to highlight the diversity of choices: Which directions do we choose in everyday life, and how do encounters with others alter our path? The production uses clear movement sequences, striking positions and precise timing to explore the tension between direction, freedom and responsibility.

In the end, the piece leaves room for reflection: Which paths does each of us choose, and which paths might open new doors?
