Cooperations with daycare centers and schools

The HELIOS Theater cooperates with daycare centers and schools in Hamm and the surrounding area, thereby strengthening the collaboration between educational institutions and the theater and sending a clear signal that young people—from the very youngest to young adults—should participate in cultural education.

The cooperating daycare centers and schools visit a HELIOS Theater production at least once per school year with different grade levels. In addition to attending performances, the HELIOS Theater's theater education department offers thematic introductions, preparatory workshops, and post-performance discussions.

The collaborations with schools are educational partnerships in the Education Partner NRW – Stage and School program. This program supports networking between schools and extracurricular educational institutions.
