Wheat, the central element of the production, symbolizes the life hidden within each ear of wheat—a life that can be reborn in another place. Visitors enter a timeless space: a wheat field in the making, which takes shape through the participation of those present. Paths of clay wind across the ground, into which the children plant ears of wheat that are far larger than they are. The music blends sounds of nature, traditional songs from northern Italy, and compositions by Yoann Piovoso.
