The Ishyo Arts Center is active in the fields of literature, music, fine arts and theatre. Founded in 2007 by a group of 8 women, it was the first and the only arts centre in Ruanda’s capital city Kigali. It contributes in many different ways to establishing an audience and to fostering a multitude of arts. Artistic director is Carole Karemera.
